KIA Carnival Price In Pakistan

After 1.5 years since its global debut, the facelifted 4th generation of the Kia Carnival has finally been launched in Pakistan. Initially introduced worldwide in mid-2023, it is now offered in Pakistan as a Completely Built Unit (CBU). The vehicle’s price stands at PKR 17,000,000 (ex-factory) and retains its 11-seat configuration, enabling it to be classified as a commercial vehicle, which allows for lower customs duties.

The updated Carnival is powered by the same 3.5-liter V6 engine, generating 272 horsepower and 331 Nm of torque, coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission. It comes with a variety of advanced safety and convenience features. Notable elements include the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), which feature forward collision avoidance assist, lane-keeping assist, and blind-spot collision avoidance assist.

Inside, there haven’t been significant alterations, aside from a redesign of the AC vents, dashboard, and center console, which now boasts a fresh appearance. Bookings and Tax Information

Bookings for the Carnival Executive are now being accepted at Kia dealerships throughout the country. The starting price for this model is around PKR 1.75 crore, which is an introductory fee that may see an increase over time.

Fortunately, the Carnival ranks among the most tax-efficient CBU vehicles available in Pakistan. Kia has wisely categorized the Carnival as a commercial transport vehicle, which results in a tax rate of just 12% on the invoice price for filers, and 36% for non-filers.

This classification takes advantage of the Federal Board of Revenue’s (FBR) policy that states any vehicle with a passenger capacity exceeding 10 and operating on combustion can qualify as a commercial vehicle. Consequently, the Carnival stands out as one of the lowest taxed vehicles in the new car market.
